DSX VoIP Keysets for work, home,
or the remote office |
|
Install DSX IP keysets on-premise in a managed
network or off-site in a remote office. Choose between two
types of DSX IP extensions: the 34-Button Backlit Display and
the 34-Button Backlit Super Display. These feature-rich
IP keysets offer the same features as their digital counterparts,
have Full Duplex speakerphones, and are quick to set up in
an IP environment. Each DSX IP Keyset uses a single, low-profile
Ethernet cable to the desktop connected to a compact, unobtrusive
DSX IP Phone Adaptor. Compliant third-party SIP phones, soft
phones, and ATAs are also supported. |

Streamlined features you'll use
every day |
|
Enable Hot Dial Pad so you can dial an Intercom
or outside call without first lifting the handset, and still
have your User Programmable Features. Directory Dialing
Search can help you quickly call a co-worker or find a
Speed Dial number. If you have a private office, call your
mailbox without entering a Security Code but require
it for remote access.
User Level Programming using the soft keys, which
lets you set the feature options on your telephone, is greatly
enhanced with an extensive face lift and functional overhaul.
The more intuitive interface uses all three lines of the
telephone display to provide better guidance when selecting
options and setting preferences. |

Simplified yet powerful call handling
and routing |
|
Use the new Line Scheduling to quickly set up how
you want to handle incoming calls. It's easy to understand
and intuitive to set up, yet has the power and flexibility
to satisfy even complex call answering scenarios. Skip
Ahead, an important part of Line Scheduling, lets you
press a key to skip ahead in your schedule. Have to leave early
for the day? Just press Skip Ahead to activate the
evening schedule. Starting early? Press Skip Ahead to
advance from your overnight schedule to the normal workday
schedule.
If you work in a multilingual environment and IntraMail
answers your calls, the Multilingual Voice Prompts can
guide your callers in their choice of English, Spanish, or
French. The language selections are also available for each
mailbox.
Call center co-workers will appreciate the Translation
Name feature added to Direct Inward Dialing. When a
call rings in, the display can show a custom name describing
the call based on the number dialed. If the center has PRI
service, a user calling out can automatically send a custom Calling
Party Number (up to 18 digits) that will show as part
of the Caller ID at the destination. |

Stay in touch - let IntraMail Pro
find you or deliver your message |
|
Find Me Follow Me, a new feature for IntraMail
Pro, helps a caller locate you when you are away from your
desk. If the call is unanswered, IntraMail can pick up the
call and try you at up to three alternate Find Me Follow Me
destinations. Cascading Message Notification, another
new feature for IntraMail Pro, can call you at up to five preset
destinations to let you know when a new voice mail message
has arrived.
With either of these new IntraMail Pro features, a destination
can be an outside number (such as a cell phone, pager, or
home office) or a co-worker's extension.
Set up your telephone to deliver new messages via Email
Integration. You'll notice with messages from outside
callers that you'll now see their number and name. |

Your favorite productivity features
with a new twist |
|
Some of your favorite features have a new twist to make
them even more effective. The Call Timer can now run
without a Feature Key. When returning a call in your Caller
ID log, you can Manually Select how you want the number
dialed. Efficiently manage frequent calls from co-workers by
putting an Intercom Queue Key on your telephone (even
if you are not an operator). You can now choose to have your Speed
Dial numbers dial out on your Prime Line rather than a
line or line group.
Hold and Park provide the programmable Recall Cycle option
to better control the handling of unanswered calls placed
on Hold or Park. Additionally, the Park Recall Enhancement lets
you pick up a call parked by a co-worker while it is in orbit
or recalling. |
| |
| |
Some new programming options to
save you time |
|
The eight separate Ring Groups and UCD Groups are replaced
by 30 Department Groups. You can set up Department
Groups as either Ring Groups or UCD Groups in any combination.
For more efficient setup, group IntraMail programming is consolidated
into the Department Groups. IntraMail uses a Dedicated
UCD Group and does not subtract from the number of Department
Groups. |
